In a large bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar. In small bowl, beat together egg and milk. Stir milk and egg into flour mixture. Stir in butter. Set aside for 5 minutes to activate baking powder. Can sit an hour if needed.

Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle. Sprinkle blueberries on each pancake. Cook on both sides until golden brown.
Syrup

In a medium saucepan, mix sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to a boil. Stirring constantly, cook 3-4 minutes. Mix in remaining blueberries, reduce heat, and simmer 10 minutes, or until the blueberries burst. Stir in butter and serve over pancakes.
