Virginia’s Turtles

Ingredients

3 cup chopped pecans
40 caramels (Kraft wrapped caramels preferred)
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp water
semisweet chocolate (melted)

Instructions

Melt caramels, butter, and water in saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in nuts.
Drop by tablespoons onto greased waxed paper. Chill in refrigerator until firm.
Dip in melted chocolate to cover. Return to waxed paper until chocolate hardens.
