BBQ Marinated Flank Steak

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
Instructions

    In small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, vinegar, ginger, garlic powder, and oil.

    Place steak in shallow baking dish. Pour marinade over steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight or 8 hours.
    When buying flank steak to freeze for future use, add prepared marinate to Ziploc bag, add steak and seal, removing as much air as possible. Push marinade onto entire surface of steak and freeze until ready to thaw and cook.

    Grill or broil about 5 minutes on each side or to desired doneness.
